Welcome and thanks for interest in my work. I am currently an Assistant Professor in Geography & Earth Science at University of Wisconsin, La Crosse (UWL). Before joining UWL, I was a Postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Geography & the Environment, University of Texas at Austin and a PhD graduate of the same department.
My research interests lie at the intersection of Geographic Information Science, Biogeography and human-environment interactions. I integrate field and multi-scale satellite derived environmental data and utilize statistical/machine learning techniques for extracting processes from state variables, analyzing land use land cover dynamics and related drivers in natural and human systems at local to regional scales.
